USR Optonix has been an industry leader in specialty chemical manufacturing since 1917. We are currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Kasei Optonix Ltd. in Japan.

In 2005 manufacturing shifted to our parent company, Kasei Optonix Ltd. in Japan (A Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation). USR Optonix continues to supply, sell and market our photoluminescent pigments to highly specialized companies worldwide.

What’s new at USR Optonix

USR Optonix has introduced a unique Blue Pigment P170. It is the only phosphorescent pigment that emits a true blue color. It is currently available in two particle size ranges – one for plastics and one for coatings and inks.

New additions to our UV Fluorescent pigments include a smaller particle size Red P555S, designed for security applications.
